Beginners class

A series of classes designed to introduce newcomers to Scottish Country dancing. The course covers the basic steps and formations and is suitable for those who are new to Scottish country dancing or who wish to refresh their knowledge after a break from dancing.
(Please note: There is no class the first Monday of each month - members are invited to attend the Social Dancing class instead those weeks, which are designed accordingly.)

Social Dancing class

For dancers with a good basic knowledge of steps and the most common figures. It aims to improve technique and build confidence, with emphasis on learning & practicing dances, including those from the Branch social dance programmes.

Advanced Technique class

For dancers with a good ability in footwork and knowledge of figures. The emphasis is on achieving a good dancing standard in aspects such as rhythm, phrasing & formations.
Should suit experienced dancers and newer members who enjoy dancing with style & good technique who pick up new dances fairly quickly.
